Ferret - Benita - Small - Young - Female - Small & Furry
Benita (blessed) came in Nov. 12, 2012 with a group of 5 ferrets. She was being called two ears because the other two female sables each had an ear cut off. She arrived very malnurished and near starvation, weighing 15.4 oz. after two meals. Like the others, she has taken to the food very well and is back to a safe weight and has her energy back. She is a sweet girl who will allow you to hold her for long lengths of time as she wraps her front and back legs around your arm. She also plays well with other ferrets. While most ferrets can be switched to kibble, please considering continuing to providing a balanced raw diet. It can be bought commercially online or locally. Commercial forms usually look like hamburger patties. Dec. 7 update: She is doing great and has received hormone shots to pull her out of heat. She is very sweet and has no problem letting you hold her as she lays her head on you. Her spay is scheduled for Jan. 10th (completed) Please note that Benita has bonded with Dutchess and the two must be adopted together. Adoption fee ($75/single, $140/bonded pair) includes shots and a sample of food. Ages are estimations as tooth wear can vary due to diet and cage biting. Current food mix: BARF/ raw commercial diet, mostly purchased from hare-today.com. Includes chichken, turkey, beef, rabbits, etc. grinds and whole, raw chicken wings three times a week for dental care. Please email [email removed] for an adoption application.
