David Brower is occasionally credited with inventing the modern coffee table book. While working as executive director of the Sierra Club he had the concept for a series of books that combined nature and history photography and writings on pages huge enough to carry, and impress upon the reader, a provided image's dynamic. The very first such book, "This is the American Earth", with photographs by Ansel Adams and others, was released in 1960, and with it, the coffee table book was born.
Such a book is rather huge in size in order to effectively display its accompanying photos, has a hardcover, and is particularly released to sit prominently on a coffee table, or an alternate difficult service, in a location where visitors collect, hence, creating discussion or, in its absence, relieving boredom.
Used either for your entertaining satisfaction or as an outstanding present to others, being offered are fourteen (14) such books, all in outstanding condition. These include:.
